Feeling Surly

I like Surly Bikes. I think they make pretty good products as reasonable prices. Even though they seem to be a subsidiary of a larger entity (Quality Bicycle Parts), they seem to have kept their own identity. But what is up with their inventory management??? Are they victims of their own success? They are out of stock and waiting for so much stuff, they can't have forseen the demand.
